Linda Ross

Hello, my name is Linda Ross and I am one of the District 49 school nurses. Originally from Illinois, I went to University of Illinois at Chicago to obtain my BSN.  I went on to work for 11 years in downtown Chicago at Northwestern University.   After living and working in the big city for almost 15 years, my family and I decided we wanted a change of pace and scenery and moved out to Colorado Springs in 2017.  Most of my nursing experience is working with infants in the NICU.  Through my various positions I have gained much experience with emergencies, rare congenital diseases and chronic conditions related to prematurity that continue through childhood.  Communication with multidisciplinary teams and families has been a large part of my job as a nurse.
